To cancel, reply to your order confirmation email and tell us what you would like to cancel. No form is needed to cancel by email. You can also cancel an order online.
Your right to change your mind
UK and EU consumers buying online can cancel without giving a reason. Tell us before the end of 14 calendar days starting the day after you or your nominated recipient receives the goods. For one order delivered in separate parcels, the period starts after the last item arrives. You can also cancel before delivery. A consumer buys mainly outside their trade or business. We offer the same 14-day change-of-mind return period for our standard goods to business customers and customers elsewhere as a contractual benefit. Mandatory local rights remain unaffected.
How to cancel
Reply to your order confirmation email and tell us what you would like to cancel. Replies go to team@qleaptech.co.uk. No form is needed to cancel by email. You can also use the Cancel an order online link at checkout or on your order page, email team@qleaptech.co.uk directly, or write to our address below. Give your name and enough information to identify the order, and state clearly that you are cancelling all or specified items. A reason is optional. You do not need an account, prior approval, a return authorisation number or our model form to give valid notice. Send the notice before the deadline. Online notices receive a dated acknowledgement by email.
Sending goods back
Send the goods back without unnecessary delay and within 14 calendar days after telling us you are cancelling. Return to Q-Leap Technology LTD, trading as Bait Saviour, 248 Sandhills Avenue, Hamilton, Leicester, LE5 1PL, United Kingdom, unless we offer a collection or agree another return address. Email us if you need safe return instructions, especially for a damaged battery. Do not wait for a reply to give cancellation notice. Include the order reference and use suitable packaging. Original packaging is helpful but is not a condition of your legal right to cancel.
Return costs and condition
For a change-of-mind return, you pay the direct return postage. Return postage depends on the parcel, carrier and country. Batteries must use a service that accepts them; contact us for safe return instructions. We arrange or cover reasonable return costs for faulty, damaged, incorrect or misdescribed goods. You may inspect goods as you would in a shop. If handling goes beyond what is needed to establish their nature, characteristics and operation, we may deduct only the resulting proven reduction in value where law permits. We do not charge a restocking fee or impose an unopened-only condition on statutory returns.
Refunds after cancellation
We refund the price paid for the cancelled goods and associated VAT. If you cancel the whole order, we also refund the least expensive standard outward delivery charge we offered. Any premium above standard delivery is not refundable under the change-of-mind rules. For a partial return, we refund any outward delivery amount required by law. We refund without undue delay and within 14 calendar days of your cancellation notice, but may withhold reimbursement until we receive the goods or evidence that you sent them, whichever is earlier, unless we offered to collect them. We use the original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise, and charge no refund fee.
Programmed control boxes and release allowances
The release allowance is programmed onto a physical control box before dispatch. It is not a separate download or automatically renewing subscription. Selecting a standard release delay or allowance does not by itself remove your cancellation right. Return the control box and supplied components with a cancelled complete setup. Actual use or consumed releases may affect value only as allowed under the handling rules above. Any genuinely bespoke future product exception would have to be explained before you buy; it is not applied automatically to this catalogue.
Faulty goods and your legal rights
Contact us with the order reference and fault details. We are the seller and will handle the remedy, rather than require you to deal only with a manufacturer. UK consumers generally have a 30-day short-term right to reject faulty goods, followed by rights to repair or replacement and, where the legal conditions are met, a price reduction or refund. EU consumers have at least the applicable two-year legal conformity protection, and some countries provide longer or additional rights. Repairs and replacements must be free and completed within a reasonable time without significant inconvenience. We honour any applicable extension of the legal guarantee following repair, including the EU minimum 12-month extension where applicable. These rights are separate from change-of-mind returns.
Commercial warranty and complaints
Our advertised 12-month manufacturer warranty is additional to statutory rights. Its exclusions for loss, accidental damage or mishandling do not exclude a claim for an inherent fault, misdescription or other mandatory consumer remedy. Use team@qleaptech.co.uk for complaints and we will investigate and explain the proposed resolution. Nothing in these terms removes mandatory protection under the law of your country of residence. Consumer claims may be brought in the courts available to you under that law; these terms do not require you to use only UK courts.
