01 / HandheldHow do I band a claw by hand?
Place a suitable lobster band evenly across the jaw tips. Hold the e‑bander by its handle and press the button to open the band. Position it around the claw, release the button and check that the band sits securely.
Keep fingers clear of the moving jaws. If the band catches or the jaws do not move freely, release the control and disconnect power before checking them. The owner’s guide shows the full sequence.
02 / Working positionWhich setup suits my workspace?
Use the button in handheld mode when you need to move around the catch. For a fixed position, secure the optional base station to a suitable horizontal worktop or counter, or fit the optional wall bracket to a sound vertical wall or panel at a practical height.
Both mounts have an end sensor that opens the jaws when a claw is presented, leaving both hands free to handle the lobster. Keep the jaw area and power lead clear. The mounts are separate accessories for the same e‑bander tool.
03 / PowerHow do I keep it powered?
The built-in battery is rated for up to 6,000 clamps per charge. Stop the tool and make sure the tool and connector are dry before charging with the supplied charger. Keep the charger in a dry location.

04 / CareHow do I care for the jaws?
Switch off and disconnect power before cleaning or inspecting. Wipe away salt and debris with a lightly damp cloth, then dry the jaws and housing. Check for bent jaw tips, loose mounts or damaged cables before the next session.
The tool is water-resistant, but should not be immersed or pressure washed. Store it dry and protected from impact. If the action remains uneven, stop using it and contact us with a photo or short video.
